COMMISSIONS
If you wish to own a piece of hand carved wooden jewelry or artwork crafted specifically for you, I will gladly accept custom orders. Following are some general information about this process. If you have any questions you can send them to me trough the contact page .
My purpose is to put your wishes and ideas into reality.
The Process
Ordering custom wooden jewelry or artwork is a simple 3-step process:
- First share your idea with me. You can also send me drawings and sketches that can be used as a base or main feature of the design. We will then determine the size and select the materials for your carving.
- Then, according to your ideas I will draw and send you the design for a review. If you wish to make any changes to it we will go back to the drawing board and make adjustments.
- Lastly, when the design is approved by you I will start to work on your art piece after I receive the order confirmation payment.

Size Categories
- tiny (below 2x2 inch)
- small (up to 5x5 inch)
- medium (up to 10x10 inch)
- large (above 10x10 inch)
Completion Time
Production time is dependent upon several factors, such as the complexity of the design, the type of finish and the drying time, etc. The usual turnaround for small size projects is around 30 days from start to delivery.
Please keep in mind that all commissions are subject to first come, fist served principle. If I have other pending orders at the time, they will be finished first.
customizing Items
I can also customize or personalize other items for you. For example if you wish to have something carved on your gunstock, knife handle, wooden bowl, jewelry box etc. The main requirement is that the item is made from wood and of appropriate size to ship via common delivery services. For starters send me a few pictures of your item.
pricing & Payment
The price of a finished custom piece depends on the amount and difficulty of work that is needed to complete it and the cost of used materials.
For a small project it usually starts around 200€. Before I start to work on the commissioned piece I will inform you about the estimated price.
As an order confirmation I will require an advance payment of 50% of the estimated order price. The rest of the payment can be sent after the work is completed.
Refunds
If I already started the work on a commissioned piece and you change your mind and wish to cancel the order, I can offer only a partial refund depending on how much work has already been done. Finished and shipped custom orders and orders that are over 50% complete are not refundable. Since commissions are made for specific customers returns can also not be accepted.
